Think about your neck.
I've been doing a lot of filming lately. I find myself craning and staring down at a screen. Then I also find that I do this when I'm on my phone. Turns out there's a whole phenomena called 'Tech Neck.' So I've decided to take things into my own hands before I'm too far gone. I recommend you do the same.
There's a lot of things you can do for your neck, and still accomplish the same task that was hurting your neck. Little things. Usually the answer her is 'Lift it up in front of your face.' Simple habits that go a long way.
You should do whatever you can because there is so much that your neck has done for you. Think about it. Thank your neck. It's the only tunnel into body city. You have to respect it. There is no room for error, accidents, and no reason for neglect. Even the slightest delay in taking action on your bad habit is inexcusable.
If you work in an environment that causes you to deny your neck good form - change it. Raise your computer screen. Switch to a standing desk. Do whatever it takes to work in a way that favors your neck.
Or quit your job. Find another one that is better for your neck.
The neck does a lot of things for you. So breathe into it, right now, stretch it out. You want to put a lot more miles on that baby. A guy named Tom Keenan bought his mom an iPad and found she couldn't use it because her neck was so uncomfortable. He started a company called Mükava. The product is an ergonomic foldy table. It works like a beautiful Pixar lamp, but its a table. It uses pure genius mixed with magic. Bottom line - It helps people refrain from poor neck habits.
Cater media like tablets, and literature to your comfort and health. Bring objects to your face rather than the other way around. Empower yourself and become the master of your own neck.
Tom realized that something had to change when his mother couldn’t use the iPad he had bought her. The device he bought from Amazon to assist her weren’t up to par. So now there’s a solution – because he wanted one.
The designer Hiroshi Ono, is a talented multi-award winning industrial designer. Educated in Japan, and working in Italy for the last 22 years. Hiroshi seeks the perfect blend Japanese aesthetic and Italian design. His work has spanned many products and prepared him to do a great job on the Mükava.
The neck is the top of the spine so a lot of things that help the rest of the back and spine also improve neck health. The image attached will give you some great ideas but feel free to elaborate on them. As you know - IF YOU ARE MOVING IT - YOU ARE WORKING IT!
Stay hydrated America.

-Everything happens NOW. Achieve the now factor-
It starts from within. Change the way you think. Think of yourself centered in the universe. Check out the graphic. It's our galaxy (artist’s rendition) What I like about it, everything is spinning. Everything is spinning. In our lives and it 'is' what generated the life in the first place. Everything 'is' and everything does spin. The world, the solar system, the galaxy, the universe.
Now embody that chaos. You are as great as the all. You are a part of it.
Acknowledge your greatness. All the works in existence are impelling you toward your potential. Keep reaching and whatever you desire will come to you. Now get in motion and stay in motion. Sedentary objects are less likely to achieve their goals. Thanks to compound interest every step you take in consecutive unison will multiply. Infinite amounts of success can be achieved through adding up small inconsequential amounts it. Put your effort in repetition, do it, do it, do it, and all the while figure out a way do it more.
Video has great power, the power to capture your energy. Many purposes can be derived here. Great athletes watch themselves on tape for the purpose of improvement. You are a great athlete of whatever you do. There is nobody better to watch, listen, and learn, from than yourself. Figure out who you are – and make that person who you want to be.
Everything happens NOW.
There is no discourse between you and the universe we all live in other than the attitude you have now. Make the attitude you have now one of achievement.
Priority 1: make a list.
Priority 2: Do as much as you can today.
Priority 3: Put what you can't on a calendar.
Priority 4: Wash, rinse, repeat.
Pro-Tip: Using Google calendar - place 30 min. timers on priorities.
Priority 5: Make each accomplishment with unfettered enthusiasm!
This is how you make 2016 your breakout year. NOW!
Questions and concerns for validating life choices.
The following information is not for the faint of heart. Brought to you with a general good will towards mankind, but I admit it is shrewd. Targeted at those select few individuals with a genuine interest in living the good life. The preamble to this list must denote there are plenty of times and places to be selfless. You will know them when you see them. Use your judgment. Remember family first, help old ladies across the street, yadda, yadda, yadda.
Developing the ability to preserve your valuable time, is what this is all about. Time is money. There are a lot of wasteful vacuums out there. Your own ability to avoid them will make or break your life.
Exerting a true effort is an offering of the greatest value. In proper undertaking it utilizes great energy. The energy which is a human’s most valuable resource. Reserve it for the true and honest needs of the soul. Utilizing it for anything less is a sin. Don’t waste all your energy on the daily tedium and toiling of the unimportant nature. Especially petty nonsense - non-believers – and vultures who will harness and abuse your time. Taking time to read this list is no contradiction to the measure we are trying to achieve. I assure you, it will bring you more energy than it consumes in the long-haul.
That is why I took the time to write it.
1. Is this part of your mission in life?
Determine what kind of endeavor it is. Is it one that generates synchronic momentum towards your purpose in life? If not, you needn’t worry exhausting yourself with it. Many people need to make money by working jobs they hate. Remember if you are one of these people - that job is not your life; it is a vehicle. When you learn not to give all your energy away you will have a lot left over to build with. So in the meantime – when it gets unbearable just lean back, relax your gaze, and whisper ‘I am the best,’ into the ethos. This should not be directed at anyone but yourself. It is a message for you! It all starts from within. Only then when your subconscious is in-tune with the message can one meet the fruit of the labor. Being is believing and from there you can grow outward. Becoming a Godlike creature.
Disqualifying that which is not part of your mission in life is the purpose of number one. It is important to note that doing is always doing and never merely saying. A lot of people who run around loudly saying, ‘I don’t give a F#@$!’ actually do. Far too much of a F#@$ in fact. The tragedy is that the solution lies in their very words. If they could just learn to truly embody that and direct it towards the problem at hand, they would have a great tool for overcoming the obstacle.
2. Who do they think they are?
No, actually get to know who they think they are.
Who someone thinks they are is who they are or who they will become.
A great way to regain center in conflict is to stare deep into the eyes of the person making you feel downtrodden. Ask them to self-represent themselves for a moment. Change up the momentum. ‘Who do you think you are?’ May be a little brash, but that is the nature of what we are aiming at.
First it is good to know little people will put up a big fight if it is their training to do so. But it is not hard to slow them down. Be sincere. Pause any programmed machine tendencies with an inadvertent reminder that they are an individual. A great way to do this is to throw a few straight answers first. Answer with a direct 'no' or 'yes' in the initial volleys before you lay your hit. This establishes a sense of power, and self-respect. If not conveying dominance at least a firm set of responses can identify you as a worthy contender.
A blaring 'where did you go to high school?' may be too obvious. Go for a compliment. Something that reflects a choice, because as a self-governing body, we all make choices. It feels great to have your choices validated, sometimes even by a sworn enemy.
The sooner you end the war and make a friend, the sooner you can be on your way. Maintain your scheduled high fidelity to yourself, and your purpose, no more time wasted.
3. Give me two reasons why I should care?
Sometimes an individual with way too much time on their hands will do something they think is right. But the norm is for lazy people to be lazy, selfish, and unproductive. They will come right out and get in your way. If the situation is right, you can shut them down quick. Give them a peek at your lifestyle and come right out with 'Give me two reasons why I should care?' Of course we can't talk to everyone like that.
Push the internal means of the message wherever possible. If you are scheduling something, ask yourself. 'Give me two reasons why I should care?' You can practice on telemarketers, Jehovah’s witnesses, people getting you to sign a petition.
The real target for this philosophy - disguised energy barrens. The biggest one of all, yourself. If you can't give yourself two good reasons to do something, don't do it! More than two reasons is highly preferred.
Knock knock, who is there? A little F#@$.
Feel free to open up by releasing a loud burst of honest laughter. It is funny. They are derelict and you can laugh or cry about it – so laugh! Then say something off the cuff like. ‘Have a nice day.’
Remember that you have probably abandoned a lot of your genuine interests in pursuit of success. So don’t waste a second of your highly valued time on the unworthy or for that which does not help you fulfill your hopes, dreams, and aspirations.
5. Am I getting paid?
If you can’t respond to this question with a resounding YES, you may want to consider retracting effort.
6. Does this person have any right?
Fortunately, in today’s day and age we have LinkedIn, the FBI, and social security numbers you can find out quickly. You don’t have to waste valuable time on those who are undeserving of your time, likely con-artists. Make sure all time you invest in anything will be worth it in the long-run. Your first priority needs to be utilizing your energy to achieve your own maximum potential.
If you think someone is taking you for a ride. Whether it be time or money (they are the same thing) and wasting it, give fair warning that then take appropriate action. Whatever that may be. Just remember not to give too much energy in doing so. Keep the majority of your attention in better, more lucrative places.
7. How much have I already lost?
Think back to all those things you have done. Great effort – no reward. Be mindful that experience is a valuable thing, but experience alone doesn’t pay the bills.
Don’t dwell but think back.
Don’t let that time be lost in vain. I’m talking about the ‘time share’ sales pitches, the network marketing meetings, ELEMENTARY – High School - & COLLEGIATE EDUCATION (Depending on your experience) - ten-thousand or more moments you will never get back. Energy that were taken from you at an age where you were too young to know any better. Venture that didn’t profit you a dime. There is a silver lining - each and every day moving forward can be filled with a purpose. Wrap your energy tightly in your pocket and stride bravely into the future, now you know it’s value. Let the conservancy of this time & energy warm your heart, shine brightly on your face, and walk with a sense of purpose that alerts others to get out of your way. You are not for senseless distribution.
I’m talking about the branch of mathematics dealing with the properties and manipulation of numbers. Compound interest, for every second you don’t lose you get two back, to do whatever you want with. Make it good. You know those hopes and dreams you had when you were a child? You could have accomplished them but you had to go and give all your energy away on pointless crap. The likes of which will only net you someone else’s hopes and dreams. Think about it. Think about you. Save your time for what matters.
9. You are landing on the flypaper.
Little Janie got 2400 on the SAT, she is going to the best law school in the country, and bowls a 300 consistently but she but doesn’t have a satisfaction. Why? Because Little Janie wanted to be an Astronaut.
Achievements are relative. We are here to be happy. True success is HAPPY success. Don’t give out your own worth scoring points for someone else’s team. I don’t care how good it looks on paper. At the end of the day, you are the only person you need to answer to.
10. How’d you learn to not care like that?
When you look on the true achievements of others. Achievements that bring them joy. More than just general happiness and appreciation from others but I mean the type of thing where someone is great, they know it, and their soul is rejoicing every day when they wake up. Don’t think ‘how did they do it?’ you need only to pinpoint ‘How’d they learn to not care like that?’ – for it is there, that you will find the secret of their success.
Caring about the interests of others before your own is awful. Don't do it!
